Marcus and Taylor’s wedding day was a beautiful reflection of who they are: warm, down-to-earth, and madly in love. The day began in the heart of Soulard, where they got ready in the comfort of their own home—surrounded by their wedding party, close friends, family, and their beloved dogs. The energy in the house was relaxed but joyful, setting the tone for a day full of intentional moments and deep emotion.
Taylor shared a first look with her bridesmaids in their backyard, a quiet and heartfelt moment that quickly turned emotional. But nothing compared to the first time she saw Marcus. Their private first look, surrounded by the early summer greenery of their yard, was a moment neither of them will forget.
Afterward, we headed to Tower Grove Park—where they’d taken their engagement photos—for wedding party portraits and couple photos. The familiarity of the park added a layer of meaning, and the afternoon light filtering through the trees made everything feel golden and timeless.
Their ceremony at the Piper Palm House was nothing short of magical. Lush with natural light and framed by tropical greenery, the space was filled with emotion. Family and friends held back tears as Marcus and Taylor exchanged heartfelt vows. It was the kind of ceremony that reminded everyone in attendance of the beauty of true connection.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, we stole a quiet moment at Lafayette Park for golden hour portraits. Champagne was popped, laughter echoed through the park, and they soaked in their first golden hour as husband and wife.
The celebration continued into the night at Moulin Events and Meetings, where candlelight, clinking glasses, and joyful dancing filled the venue. Every detail—from the floral designs by Roses & Mint Florals to the incredible rentals from An Affair To Remember—was thoughtfully curated to feel like them.
Their reception was complete with a photobooth by Fête Booth St. Louis, a bustling dance floor, and love so thick in the air you could feel it.
